Nicole traveled to Kenya and worked with an organization called Nyumbani Children's Home. Nyumbani is an orphanage for children affected by HIV/AIDS. Nicole brought donated art supplies to Nyumabni from America and taught the children, ages 4-15, how to create several art projects out of the donated materials.

Live painting on CNN
Nicole was selected to create a live painting on the HLN segment "Morning Express with Robin Meade," hosted by Coy Wire-a broadcaster for CNN and HLN. She created the painting, encapuslating all of UW-Madison's iconic landmarks, in a total of 45 minutes. The segment was apart of a series featuring tailgates on college campuses across America.

TIMING - From start to finish, your guests will have the opportunity to witness the painting come to life in real-time. - Your completed painting will be ready for you to take home on the same night as your event! - The time required to finish a painting varies based on canvas size and subject matter, with an average estimate of 5 - 7 hours. EASEL -My easel is portable and I can relocate to a new location or venue as your event unfolds. -I will bring all of my own set up (easel, chair, cordless light) and materials. TRAVEL - I love to travel and I am ready to capture your special day wherever it may be! - For locations beyond a 30-mile radius from Milwaukee, clients are kindly asked to cover the IRS standard mileage rate of 67 cents per mile after the initial 30 miles roundtrip. For venues more than a 4-hour drive away, roundtrip plane tickets and a one-night hotel stay are required. Please note that a hotel is not necessary for events in Cleveland, OH. ADD-ONS - In addition to live wedding and event paintings, I also offer guest portraits and party favors, which can be added to any live painting event at a discounted rate. PRICING - Live wedding and event paintings start at $2,200.
